What is 6 x 8 ?
4 x 7 ? 9 x 5?
Did you have to think about any of those before you answered? If so, I think I know why. You are out of practice. It happens, trust me. Don't worry, all that work you put in learning all those facts wasn't wasted.
The answers are still up there in your head. Practice them a few times and you will be amazed at how easily they come back (if they were really up there to begin with).
So take a few minutes a couple of times this week and practice. You could have a parent quiz you or use flashcards or go online and play a multiplication game. If you can't then just grab a deck of cards. Flip two cards and multiply them (Jacks are 11s, queens are 12s, you can take out the kings).
Learning is ALWAYS worth the effort.
